Kale, Carrot and Cucumber Shake

Have some extra kale left over? Grab a couple of other ingredients and with this you can make a seriously healthy shake that’s going to give you energy for hours. It was the end of the week, the day before grocery shopping and I had some random veggies lying around, so I put together this nourishing, fiber-packed shake.

Kale, Carrot and Cucumber Shake

Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 cup kale, destemmed
1 cup spinach
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
1/3 English cucumber, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
