This smoothie combines some not-so-expected-together ingredients and comes out with a surprisingly delicious taste. It does have a bit more natural sugar than my usual green smoothies and shakes, but it’s a nice treat and something different through the week if you’re a smoothieaholic like myself and always want new ideas so you don’t get bored.
Creamy Celery and Cucumber Smoothie
1 cup almond milk
1 frozen banana
2 celery stalks, chopped in half
1/3 English cucumber, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon honey
1 ice cube
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes, or until smooth.
This smoothie is oh-so-creamy and the celery and the banana go so well together, although you wouldn’t expect it. Try it for yourself, let me know what you think!
